I just rode my bicycle out to Red Rocks Park today and checked out the course for the Red Bull Soap Box Races. I was able to reach 30 mph from a dead start at the Trading Post which is the starting line. I had to hit the brakes and HARD when I reached the fork in the road. I turned to the right which I'm guessing is the course. Still that turn frightens me. Not to mention "The Cliff of Doom"

Please Please add brakes and steering to your soap box racer. Air bags would also be a plus as well.
